Working on a Compliance Officer mandate with a renowned law firm. This position provides advice and guidance to partners, lawyers and business services staff across the full spectrum of risk and compliance issues.
In this role, you will promote compliance within the Firm and act as the local point of contact in the context of local Anti-money laundering and CTF rules. Work scope includes having responsibility of the compliance policies and regulations including Data Protection, Bribery & Corruption and liaising with the local regulators. You will be the local point of contact and provide input to global and regional initiatives with respect to local requirements when developing new policies and procedures. In addition, you will participate in the induction process for new joiners in relation to compliance and professional standards.
To be considered, you should have about 2 to 5 years’ PQE, be a Singapore law qualified with good understanding of local bar regulations and law firms. Previous experience in a law firm, bank or financial institution or similar will be an added advantage.
